Hygiene Is A Basic Right

Wellness Bank FAQ
Current SAIT students are able to apply for the Wellness Bank. Based on the application, students will be notified whether their application has been approved or rejected.
When applying, students are able to choose up to 10 items that they would like to request.
We will be processing kits based on demand per week and supply quantities available. Therefore, does not guarantee that all request submissions will be approved. Requests will be approved based on the students’ circumstances and situation.
Approved applicants will be notified of their pick-up date through email once their hamper is ready. Students will have 3 business days upon receiving this email to pick up their hamper.
Students will pick up their hampers from the Peer Support Centre (NJ105, Senator Burns), otherwise students will be notified if there is a location change. Students will be expected to present their SAIT student ID upon pick up.
If you are experiencing food insecurity due to financial hardships, please feel free to submit a request through our Emergency Food Request page.
If the student does not pick up their hamper within the 3 days provided in the email, the hamper will be forfeited to another student as the Wellness Bank has limited supply and quantities available.
Students are able to apply for the Wellness Bank once per semester.
