SAITSA Stands Up Against Violence

SAITSA Stands Up Against Violence

Every year SAITSA encourages peace on campus and in the community. The campaign began to remember the 14 women killed at Montreal’s École Polytechnique on Dec. 6, 1989. On December 2nd 2015, SAITSA will be drawing awareness to the resources available on and off-campus for victims of violence, as well as those who suffer from mental health issues. We will be asking staff and students to make their pledge to actively end all violence.

Join is in the Irene Lewis Atrium of the Stan Grad building between 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on December 2nd, 2015 to make your pledge against violence. We will have a number of guests attending to share their resources, including Calgary Communities Against Sexual Abuse, SAIT Student Development & Counseling, and Chinook Lodge Aboriginal Services.
