Impact Statement (250 words max)

Context

SAIT prides itself on developing partnerships with business and industry leaders that provide opportunities to students beyond SAIT, Calgary, and even Canada.  SAITSA sees the value of these relationships, and recognizes that students play an important role in the success and continuity of new and established industry relationships with SAIT.  This award, established in 2016, rewards individual students and clubs who demonstrate outstanding involvement with industry in Calgary and beyond.  The recipients of this award demonstrate that their desire to engage with industry went beyond self-interests and focused on the SAIT student community as a whole.
