VP Student Life

Our campus strives to foster an environment that is safe, supportive, and healthy for everyone. By attending SAIT, students are viewed as members of the SAIT community and are expected to uphold the community standards as established by SAIT. These standards are laid out in the Student Code of Conduct. A misconduct occurs when a student’s behavior is found to have possibly breached these standards. Conduct rules can apply even when a student is off-campus.

Non-academic misconduct typically pertains to issues that fall outside of grades, exams or coursework. Some examples of non-academic misconduct may include harassment, bullying, vandalism, disruption of the classroom environment, possession or use of illegal substances on campus, etc.

If you’re wanting to discuss issues pertaining to non-academic misconduct, your VP Student Life, Jessi Leippi, can assist you through the process and make sure you have the information you need.
