Re-Enrolment Policy

Re-Enrolment Policy

In the event of a cancellation for First Aid provided by Big Hearts First Aid, Big Hearts has graciously waived their $50 fee associated with reenrolling into one of their public courses due to cancellation.

This fee is only waived if you enroll and participate within 2 months of the original date you cancelled. For example, if you cancelled attendance for a course on September 23rd, you would have until November 23rd to enroll in one of the public offered courses and have the fee waived. Any course you attend past the 2-month* mark, you will have to pay an additional $50 to participate.

If you cancel, notify us at saitsa.advocacy@edu.sait.ca, you will then be informed of whether you are able to enroll into one of Big Hearts public courses.

However, this will be dependent on if Saitsa was able to fill your spot in time for the course. If your spot is filled by the Saitsa organized First Aid date, you will not be able to enroll into a public offered course as your paid spot has gone to someone else.

If this is the case, and you still seek to receive your Standard First Aid CPR/AED C, you will either have to sign up for one of the limited spots in the Student Grant Program or pay for it yourself.

*Please note that the online module you must complete as a pre-requisite expires 2 months from completion. If you wait longer than 2 months to participate in one of the public offered courses, there is a chance you may have to redo the online module again.
