The Gate is the only on-campus bar at SAIT, making it the prime place to meet friends before, between and after classes. The Gate is geared towards student life and student wallets. We’ve got great food, fast service and low prices. When The Gate is in full swing, it’s the largest student employer on campus. It is also one of the largest college bars in Canada and the best place to see some of the great bands touring Canada. Be sure to check out the SAITSA events calendar!

Directions to the Gateway Restaurant & Bar

The Gateway Restaurant & Bar is located in the Campus Centre. Click here to download the campus map.

The Calgary Transit LRT stops right at our door. The LRT platform is connected to the Campus Centre. When you get off the LRT, go up the stairs and turn right towards the Campus Centre. The Gateway is just a short walk away from the LRT.

Parking is also available at any of the parking lots on campus. The closest parking lots are P2, Jubilee/ACAD and P1. P2 is directly in front of the Campus Centre. If you¹re parking at the Jubilee/ACAD and P1 parking lots, follow the pathway across the LRT tracks towards the Campus Centre. You¹ll see the Gateway sign and our gigantic patio on your left as you walk up the pathway. Click here for the parking rates.
