How much do you know about the students’ association (SA)? Probably not much, and this needs to change. I’ve got a great communications program to boost awareness. One part is a comprehensive marketing program using a wide variety of mediums. Another is to grow the relationship with the SAIT administration, and use it to deal with Chartwells’ reign over our food, and issues like the brutal lack of parking. These answers and more will help the SA, which has a huge effect on your life at SAIT, become better and stronger. Email me at colin4president@gmail.com for more details.

I’m a second year Business Admin Accounting student. My two years on SLC have proved that I am committed to SAITSA and to giving the students a voice on campus. Through my experience as the Commissioner to the VPFinance and my involvement on several committees including communications and events, I will continue to work hard, as your VPFinance, to ensure that students are receiving the full benefits they deserve. I’m your one stop shop for how not to go broke, how to keep the money you have and how to find a job! Beat the system and Robb the Vote!

I have accomplished everthing I promised last year as your VPAcademic: created an Academic Plan to make sure your voices are heard, played an integral part in addressing plagiarism on campus, proposed changes in numerous academic policies including the Student Code of Conduct, worked with our President about recycling on campus and most importantly, I was your advocate. Those are some issues I promised last year; I succeeded. This year I will focus on parking and student parking passes, developing a “volunteer transcript” for extra-curriculars, furthering recycling on campus, and of course, you. Thanks for your support! Remember: Re-elect MacBeath!

I had never imagined that I would be running for SAITSA. But, being a Community Assistant for SAIT Residence over the past year has revealed a new passion - student life. My experience at SAIT has been invaluable, and with graduation coming up, I’m not content to just leave it at that. The outstanding resources on campus make the possibilities for student events seem endless. I envision SAITSA surpassing its accomplishments and reaching out to even more students than it already has. As VP Student Life, I hope to make everyone’s experience at SAIT as great as mine has been.
