The Gateway presents: Fever Feel with The Ashley Hundred and special guests live on April 21st.

FEVER FEEL http://feverfeel.com/
Fever Feel is an original rock and roll band of 2018, founded by primary songwriters Landon Franklin and Logan Gabert. However, they are much more than just a group of musicians. Fever Feel is a culture, a movement, and part of a new age for rock and roll music.

“There are some rare acts who craft their art from a place of deep introspection that the listener is able to feel in their core. Fever Feel is one of these bands.” – Beatroute Magazine

Causing listeners to dance and sing, then lose all control with their captivating visions of a simpler time, Fever Feel’s sound is comprised of emotionally dynamic, groove-filled compositions that lay the foundation for Franklin’s thought provoking poetry. Gabert’s guitar leads, abounding in both power and delicacy, soar with an enigmatic finesse. These make way for Platt’s equally compelling organ tones, which are shrouded in subtlety, executed violently. Together they shine like a moonlit night, contrasting the bands tight rhythm section led by Franklin and his melodic bass playing. https://soundcloud.com/feverfeel

THE ASHLEY HUNDRED https://theashleyhundred.bandcamp.com/
Since their formation in 2012, The Ashley Hundred has been constantly writing, stripping apart, and rewriting the songs of each of the band members. Continually growing as a band and as individual musicians. The bands first 2013 release, Postcards From The Moon, marked their firm arrival into the Calgary music scene, and brought them across the country on campus radio charts and on the stages from BC to Quebec. Soon after the release of their debut EP, Calgary veterans 36? approached the band to collaborate on a Split LP, which lead The Ashley Hundred to their first vinyl release, and first professionally produced music video made with funding from the Telus Storyhive grant. Their most recent Self-Titled release of September 2017, made with Juno award winning producer Josh Gwilliam and gold record holding engineer Spencer Cheyne was their most ambitious yet covering a vast sonic territory from bouncy psych-pop, to introspective ballad.
