The Gateway (or ‘The Gate’, as it is affectionately known) is the on-campus bar at SAIT Polytechnic. Not only is it one of the largest and most successful college bars in Canada, it is also regularly nominated by FFWD Weekly’s ‘Best of Calgary’ in the category of ‘Best Concert Venue, 500+’. The Gate hosts a wide range of events, both large- and small-scale, on a regular basis.

The Gateway is located in the SAIT Campus Centre at 1301-16th Ave NW. Parking is available in the adjacent Cohos Common Parkade. Parking is free if leaving after 11PM. (Please note that this is not controlled by SAITSA and is subject to change without notice.)
